Competition Awards

The $154,000 cash prize pool for the Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup is one of the largest in the United States.  Winners can spend cash awards at their discretion. The cash awards for 2017 are:

Overall Undergraduate and Graduate Division Winners:
First Place:        $25,000
Advisor:               $2,000
Second Place:   $15,000
Advisor:               $2,000
Third Place:       $10,000
Advisor:               $2,000

Arkansas Farm Bureau Agriculture Award Winners:
Graduate and Undergraduate Division — $5,000 to each first-place winner

Delta Plastics of the South Innovation Award Winners:
Graduate and Undergraduate Division — $5,000 to each first-place winner

AT&T Elevator Pitch Award Winners
Graduate and Undergraduate Division — $2,000 to each first-place winner

Additionally, the 18 teams selected to advance to the Overall Undergraduate and Graduate Division Oral Presentation Rounds each receive a $1,000 cash award.

Teams that place first and second in the overall graduate and undergraduate divisions are automatically invited to compete with the same winners from Nevada and Oklahoma at the 2017 Donald W. Reynolds Tri-State Championship May 30 and 31 at The Mirage in Las Vegas! The Tri-State cash prize pool is an additional $118,000.
